How these figures were measured

Three sources, all first-party, all reproducible:

  • The deployment record. A per-URL log written by the engine on every run — page type, assigned keyword count, measured coverage, state, and the date of the measurement. Counts below are taken from that file directly, not estimated.
  • The keyword universe. A single sheet holding every keyword the site targets, each classified once and assigned to exactly one page. Row counts come from the sheet's own row total.
  • Moz Keyword Explorer, queried live. Volume, difficulty, intent and page-one composition for twelve terms in this topic family, all pulled on 20 August 2026 in the United States market.

Coverage is measured against the rendered page, not the stored draft — a term only counts as placed if it survives the theme and appears in the HTML a crawler receives. That distinction removes a category of flattering error most internal reporting keeps.

In aggregate that is 1,646 of 1,655, or 99.5%. 106 of the 115 sit at exactly 100%; the remaining nine carry a named blocker rather than a shrug — usually a term that cannot be placed honestly without an asset the site does not have, such as a downloadable template or a calculator.

Those nine are worth more than the 106. A term blocked on a missing asset is a real finding: it says demand exists and the site has nothing true to say about it yet. Volume decay: the number in your research file is probably wrong
